Open-World Social Event Classification

With the rapid development of Internet and multimedia, popular events on social media can spread quickly all over the world through user interactions such as reposting and commenting. Open-World Social Event Classification (OWSEC) aims to classify multimodal social media posts in open-world where the test set contains new classes unseen in the training.
