Abstract

In Precision Livestock Farming (PLF), automated monitoring and management systems offer farmers and veterinarians reliable information, alerts, and reference decision-making tools, thereby aiding in cost reduction and efficiency enhancement in livestock farming. Achieving individual cattle identification is a fundamental requirement for realizing PLF in cattle farms.
